Crispy Potato Croquettes from Sir Potato Balls in a Deep Fryer / Air Fryer video

Ingredients (for approx. 2–3 servings):

  • 1 pack of SIR POTATO – potato balls (450 g)
  • Salt, pepper

Method:

Basic preparation:

  1. Open the bag of Sir Potato potato balls.
  2. No need to rinse the potatoes – they have already been washed several times during production.
  3. Transfer them to a colander and let drain for 2 minutes. Then pat dry with a kitchen towel.
  4. Meanwhile, preheat the oil in a deep fryer or air fryer.

Deep frying:

  1. Heat the oil to 170–180 °C.
  2. Place the potato balls into the fryer basket and fry for 3–4 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Remove onto paper towels and let drain.

Alternative – air fryer:

  1. Line the air fryer basket with baking paper.
  2. Lightly spray the potato balls with oil.
  3. Cook at 190 °C for about 8–10 minutes until crispy, turning halfway through.

Seasoning:

Season lightly with salt after cooking and serve warm.

Serving tips:

  • Perfect with steaks, roasted meat, or cheese sauce.
  • Also delicious served simply with a dip (garlic, herb, or sour cream).
  • Ideal as a party snack or a quick dinner with a fresh salad.
