Ingredients (for approx. 2–3 servings):
- 1 pack of SIR POTATO – cooked potato wedges (450 g)
- 1–2 tbsp butter (or plant-based butter for a vegan version)
- 1 clove of garlic (optional, lightly crushed)
- Fresh parsley – finely chopped (approx. 2 tbsp)
- Salt to taste
- Optional: ground black pepper or a pinch of nutmeg
Method:
Preparing the potatoes:
- Open the bag of potatoes.
- No need to rinse them – they have already been washed several times during production.
Pan & butter:
- Melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat.
- Optionally add the crushed garlic clove and briefly sauté it (about 30 seconds) to infuse the butter with aroma.
Frying the potatoes:
- Add the potato wedges to the pan.
- Gently stir or flip them so they turn golden on both sides (about 5–6 minutes).
Seasoning:
- Season with salt and optionally black pepper.
- Remove from heat and mix in the fresh parsley.
Serving tips:
- A great side dish for roasted or grilled meat, salmon, tofu, or vegetable dishes.
- You can elevate them with a few drops of lemon juice or a cheese topping (e.g. Parmesan).
- They also work well as a standalone meal with a salad or an egg.
