VEGETARIAN / VEGAN VERSION of Sir Potato Mashed Potatoes video

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of SIR POTATO – cooked potato wedges (450 g)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or plant-based fat
  • approx. 80 ml plant-based milk (e.g. almond or oat – warmed)
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: black pepper, nutritional yeast, garlic powder

Method:

Preparing the potatoes:

  1. Open the potatoes and heat them as in the classic version – about 2 minutes in a pot together with the liquid from the package.

Mashing:

  1. Add the olive oil and warm plant-based milk.
  2. Blend or mash by hand until smooth (depending on preference).
  3. Season with salt and optionally add a few drops of lemon juice or nutritional yeast for a “buttery” flavour.

Serving tips:

Delicious with roasted vegetables, tofu, vegan patties, or simply served with a fresh salad.
