Ingredients:
- 1 pack of SIR POTATO – cooked potato wedges (450 g)
- 2 tbsp olive oil or plant-based fat
- approx. 80 ml plant-based milk (e.g. almond or oat – warmed)
- Salt to taste
- Optional: black pepper, nutritional yeast, garlic powder
Method:
Preparing the potatoes:
- Open the potatoes and heat them as in the classic version – about 2 minutes in a pot together with the liquid from the package.
Mashing:
- Add the olive oil and warm plant-based milk.
- Blend or mash by hand until smooth (depending on preference).
- Season with salt and optionally add a few drops of lemon juice or nutritional yeast for a “buttery” flavour.
Serving tips:
Delicious with roasted vegetables, tofu, vegan patties, or simply served with a fresh salad.
