1. CLASSIC VERSION (with butter and milk)
Ingredients:
- 1 pack of SIR POTATO – cooked potato wedges (450 g)
- 2 tbsp butter
- approx. 80 ml whole milk (warmed)
- Salt to taste
- Optional: nutmeg, ground black pepper
Method:
Preparing the potatoes:
- Open the pack of potatoes.
- No need to rinse them – they have already been washed several times during production.
- Transfer the potatoes together with the liquid from the package into a pot and heat gently for about 2 minutes, until hot.
Mashing:
- Add the butter and warm milk to the hot potatoes.
- Mash with a potato masher or blend with a hand mixer until you reach your preferred texture (smooth or chunky).
- Season with salt and optionally a pinch of nutmeg.
Serving tips:
Serve as a side dish with meat, fish, vegetable stews, or meatballs.
Ready in just 5 minutes – made from fresh, but already prepared potatoes.
