Mashed Potatoes from Cooked Sir Potato Wedges video

1. CLASSIC VERSION (with butter and milk)

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of SIR POTATO – cooked potato wedges (450 g)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • approx. 80 ml whole milk (warmed)
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: nutmeg, ground black pepper

Method:

Preparing the potatoes:

  1. Open the pack of potatoes.
  2. No need to rinse them – they have already been washed several times during production.
  3. Transfer the potatoes together with the liquid from the package into a pot and heat gently for about 2 minutes, until hot.

Mashing:

  1. Add the butter and warm milk to the hot potatoes.
  2. Mash with a potato masher or blend with a hand mixer until you reach your preferred texture (smooth or chunky).
  3. Season with salt and optionally a pinch of nutmeg.

Serving tips:

Serve as a side dish with meat, fish, vegetable stews, or meatballs.

Ready in just 5 minutes – made from fresh, but already prepared potatoes.
